Arrowhead shreds West in sectional semifinal
The Arrowhead boys basketball team turned in a dominating performance Friday night at the Al McGuire Center in Milwaukee, overwhelming Waukesha West in the WIAA sectional semifinal, 64-32.
AHS will play in the 7:30 p.m. final with a state berth on the line Saturday night in the same venue. Germantown or Menomonee Falls will oppose.
Ben Mills finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Andrew Reichl and Andy Fox each accumulated 11 points for the Warhawks. Arrowhead closed on the first half on a 23-3 run, and West was never a factor thereafter.
West was held to just 21 percent shooting for the game, while the Warhawks hit 28 of 50 for 56 percent.
