Oconomowoc take LOL West lead
Host Oconomowoc scored a 10-7 win over the Monches Irish Sunday afternoon at Roosevelt Field to take over sole possession of first place in the Land O' Lakes Western Division baseball league.
With the win, the Five O's improved to 10-3, one game ahead of the Brookfield Blue Sox (10-4).
On Saturday, games saw Pewaukee down Sussex 5-2, Brookfield Bulldogs whip Lannon 15-1 and Brookfield Blue Sox edge Merton 4-2.
On Sunday, Pewaukee outlasted Merton 7-6, Lannon nipped Menomonee Falls 5-3, Brookfield Bulldogs stopped Hartland 8-1, West Bend trounced North Lake 19-2 and Sussex downed the Brookfield Blue Sox, 12-5.
A full slate of games will be played this Saturday and Sunday.
