Waukesha West ousts Kettle Moraine
Kettle Moraine scored twice in the top of the first, but Waukesha West answered quickly and ultimately scored an 8-2 win over the Lasers in the WIAA sectional semifinal Saturday night at West.
The Lasers finished the season 16-19.
James Gattas delivered an RBI double, part of a quick strike in the opening frame, but the Wolverines pieced together three runs in the bottom half of the frame to take a lead they would never give back. A two-run error in the fourth allowed West to pad its lead.
The Wolverines advanced to face Muskego in Sunday's sectional final.
