MACCIT announces bowling & casino night
The Milton Area Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Tourism will host the annual Bowling and Casino Night on February 17, 2012 at Varsity Lanes, 450 S. John Paul Rd.
MACCIT will host its annual Bowling and Casino night featuring crazy bowling, blackjack tables and raffle and door prizes. Join MACCIT for an evening of fun and prizes. Tickets are $18 for all you can eat pizza, bowling or blackjack, shoe rental and door prizes. (Non-MACCIT members are $25pp). Pizza is served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; crazy bowling and blackjack are from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
The MACCIT bowling tournament consists of 3 rounds; normal bowling, alternate bowlers team bowling; and crazy bowling (each frame has different directions such as bowl between your legs or with your opposite hand). Awards will be given for High Game and Low Game for Male and Female categories. Unlimited bowling is included in the admittance fee until 9 p.m. Discounts for MACCIT bowling participants are available for those wanting to continue bowling during the Varsity Lanes glow-bowl at 9 p.m. Bowling participants are limited to the first 72 paid entries and has sold out in past years; so register early. Registration and payment required in advance.
Blackjack tables will be setup with "real" local Milton dealers. Everyone will start with an equal amount of chips and at 9 p.m. the chip leaders will win awards. Blackjack participants are limited to first 21 paid entries.
For those who prefer to watch the entertainment and not participate in the bowling or casino playing, you are welcome to come for the unlimited pizza from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and stay to watch the action and participate in the door prizes and raffle. The cost is $10pp for spectators (non-MACCIT members are $15pp). To register a team or individual for this event, please contact Christina Slaback at 868-6222.
