Incumbents gain nominations in caucus

Three current Wales trustees on ballot for April 6 election

Wales Village Board held its 2010 Caucus on Jan. 18 for the April 6 election. For the vacant trustee positions, incumbent David Lang was nominated by trustee Lyle Orwig which trustee Eugene Mayernick seconded and the nomination passed.

Next, incumbent Lyle Orwig was nominated by Lang and seconded by Mayernick which also passed.

Finally, third incumbent trustee Wolfgang Hemschik was nominated by Mayernick and second by Lang and it passed.

Jeffry President Flaws called for any further nominations three times and none were received; nominations were closed.

The Village Board unanimously approved all caucus nominations.

Nominated candidates will be on the spring election ballot after confirmation by the Village Board at the Village Board Meeting that followed the caucus.
