Church to honor school staff members
At its 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Nov. 13, the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection will honor and give thanks for all people who work to educate and inspire area children through their work in schools. All members of the community are invited.
“Teachers and support staff are vital elements in the lives of our children,” said the Rev. Drew Bunting. “We want to take time to respect and dignify all the many things they do, whether it’s preparing hot meals, shoveling snow, or teaching in a classroom.”
“It has been said that education is the best preparation for life,” Bunting said. “We realize that and we want to thank those who are actively involved in the educational process. We invite all school staff members to attend this special service.”
The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection is located at 216 Main St., Mukwonago. Sunday School for all ages is at 9:00 a.m. The Sunday worship service begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by a coffee hour. For more information, call 262-363-9016 or visit the church’s website at eresurrection.org.
