Donate blood tomorrow

The American Red Cross and TryLine Rugby Charities are teaming up for the second annual Give Blood for Rugby Challenge, and this year, the goal is to collect 600 blood donations at participating drives across Wisconsin and Iowa. Rugby fans are invited to roll up their sleeve for patients in need just before the holiday, a time when donations tend to decline.

Hartland resident Bruce Lesniak, founder of TryLine Rugby Charities will be at the blood drive at Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church and School, 31385 Hill St in Hartland tomorrow from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm. and he invites you to join him in donating blood.

The Give Blood for Rugby Challenge not only helps patients in need during the winter months when donations tend to decline, but it also helps raise money for the Try Line Rugby Charities through corporate sponsorships, which will be used to assist severely injured players and support the growth of rugby in Wisconsin.
