Exciting development talks tonight in Oconomowoc

Discussions on two proposed developments in downtown Oconomowoc will be held tonight at the Community Development Authority and Common Council meetings at City Hall.

The projects include a memorandum of understanding between the city and Rockwell Development LLC. The developer years ago was approved for a multi-story mixed used development downtown, but has had trouble securing financing. The city is proposing a new plan that would help get the development going.

The second development is an agreement between the city and Worthington Apartments to build a 55-unit complex on city owned property on Wisconsin Avenue across from City Beach. The city would swap the land with Worthington for some downtown Main Street parcels and would like to expand Village Green adjacent to the properties.

Attend the meetings at City Hall, 174 E. Wisconsin Ave. tonight, the CDA begins at 6 p.m. followed by Common Council at 7:30.
