Power outages affect more than 3,100 in Lake Country
More than 3,100 customers in Lake Country are without power, according to We Energies.
A spokeswoman said the majority of people affected reside in Delafield. The outage has also stretched into outlying communities such as Nashotah and Chenequa.
The woman said crews were in Delafield investigating the cause of the outage.
According to the We Energies interactive power outage map, the outage began at 4:01 p.m. and is centered on the Nagawicka Lake area.
Power briefly went out just before 4 p.m. at the Lake Country Publications Office, 810 Cardinal Lane, Hartland, but was restored shorty thereafter.
