Oconomowoc native stops by hometown during nationwide book tour
Author Ethan Casey will be at Books and Company at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 to discuss his next book, "Home Free: An American Road Trip."
Casey embarked from his Seattle home on Sept. 4 to tour the U.S. through December for the book.
"The purpose of the book I’m planning is to do for this troubled country what I’ve previously tried to do for Pakistan and Haiti: humanizing the society in its full variety and confusion, depicting its people’s experiences and histories specifically and compassionately, amplifying their voices," Casey writes on his website, ethancasey.com.
The Oconomowoc native and University of Wisconsin graduate has written books based on his experiences in Pakistan and Haiti.
