Five injured in two-car crash in Lisbon
A 6-year-old Oconomowoc girl was taken to Children’s Hospital by Flight for Life after a two-car crash at 6:13 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. Four other people were also injured in the crash, including three children.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle driving east on County Line Road slowed to make a left turn onto Briar Ridge Lane in the Town of Lisbon. That vehicle was struck from behind by a second vehicle, also eastbound on County Line Road.
The male driver, of the first vehicle – a 43-year-old Colgate man – was uninjured. His 10-year-old and 12-year-old sons were taken by ambulance to Children’s Hospital with minor injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The 26-year-old female driver of the second vehicle was taken by ambulance to Froedtert Hospital. Her 4-year-old son was taken by ambulance to Children’s Hospital. Her 6-year-old daughter was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
Further details were not available. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
