Oconomowoc extends deadline for arbitration agreement
City of Oconomowoc Administrator Diane Gard reported Tuesday morning that the city has extended a deadline for an arbitration agreement with the owners of a parcel of land at 219. W. Wisconsin Ave. to 5 p.m. today in hopes of reaching an agreement.
The city has been working to negotiate the purchase of the parcel to develop for parking for the new community center. The original deadline was 5 p.m. Monday, but Gard reported officials extended the deadline to 5 p.m. today. The extension deadline is before the Community Development Authority goes into closed session to discuss arbitration, or if an agreement is not reached, eminent domain of the parcel.
