Pewaukee crash kills Hartland woman
Village of Pewaukee – A car crash on an icy Highway 16 left Crystal Littleton, a 21-year-old Hartland woman, dead early Saturday morning.
Early on March 16, just after midnight, Littleton was driving eastbound on the highway when she lost control of her car along the icy road, according to Captain Tim Otto.
Littleton crossed the median onto oncoming traffic and was struck by two westbound vehicles. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of in the other two cars were transported to the hospital and their cars were towed, due to damage. The highway was cleared before 5:30 a.m.
According to Otto, one went to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and the other to Waukesha Memorial Hospital while neither of the two drivers suffered from any life threatening injuries.
The Village of Pewaukee Police Department says that Littleton was wearing her seat belt and alcohol was not a factor for any of the cars involved.
