Benson pleads no contest in deal with prosecutors
Former physician Mark Benson entered no-contest please to three charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and two counts of causing injury while driving drunk this afternoon in connection with a crash last April that killed Jennifer Bukosky, 39, of the Town of Oconomowoc, her unborn child and her daughter, Courtney Bella, 10.
In exchange, prosecutors dropped a bail-jumping charge and a charge of driving with a revoked license.
Benson's plea deal comes a month before he was scheduled to go to trial on July 13.
