Sneider hearing set
The City of Pewaukee Police and Fire Commission will conduct a hearing at 3 p.m. Aug. 24 and 26 in the Common Council Chambers over allegations that Police Sgt. Cher Sneider has been untruthful and has acted inappropriately.
Sneider is accused of trying to date a known drug suspet.
After examining charges filed by acting chief Capt. Dan Meister, the commission on June 25 ruled that those charges are sufficient to warrant a hearing. Meister is seeking to have Sneider fired or demoted.
