Absenteeism at 22% at KMMS
More than 20 percent of the student body at Kettle Moraine Middle School is out sick today with flu-like symptoms, according to an e-mail to parents from Principal David Carr.
Although many doctors are no longer testing for the H1N1 (swine flu) virus, Carr wrote that the school does have 12 new confirmed cases of the virus.
The absence rate on Monday was 22 percent. The school houses 1,000 students, he wrote.
