Municipal, school races on tap Tuesday
Numerous municipal and school races will be decided Tuesday, as well as the race for state Supreme Court justice and state superintendent of public instruction.
Contested municipal races will be held in the Towns of Lisbon and Merton, the Village of Pewaukee and in the City of Pewaukee. Contested school races will be held in the school districts of Arrowhead, Hartland-Lakeside, Pewaukee, Stone Bank and Swallow.
Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson, who has been on the state's high court since 1976, is being challenged by Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Randy Koschnick. In the race for superintendent of the state Department of Public Instruction, Mukwonago native Rose Fernandez will take on Deputy Public Instruction Superintendent Tony Evers.
Here is a listing of area polling stations. All polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

City of Pewaukee
Wards 8, 9, and 10 at City Hall, W240 N3065 Pewaukee Road; Wards 1, 2 and 3 at Wagner Park, N31 W23320 Green Road; and Wards 4,5, 6 and 7 at New Vision Brethren in Christ Church, N14 W27995 Silvernail Road.
Incumbent Kathleen Novack faces challenger Cheri Enters in the Supervisor 1 race, and incumbent Douglas Kiser faces Fermin Rivera for the Supervisor 3 seat.
Town of Delafield
Wards 1, 2, 5 and 6, Town Hall, N14 W30782 Golf Road; Wards 3 and 4, Church of the Resurrection, W287 N3700 Highway KE; Wards 7 and 8, Brandybrook School, S11 W29980 Highway 18; and Wards 9, 10, and 11, Fire Station No. 2, W329 S690 Highway C.
Town of Lisbon
Wards 1, 9, 10 and 12 Town Hall, W234 N8676 Woodside Road; Wards 2, 3, 4 and 11 at Hamilton High School, W220 N6151 Town Line Road; Wards 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the new firehouse, N54 W26455 Lisbon Road (the corner of Highways K and KF).
Town Chairman Michael Reed faces a challenge by Matthew Gehrke. Steven Panten and Daniel Heier are facing off for the Supervisor 2 seat, while incumbent Joseph Osterman takes on Ron Fricke for the Supervisor 4 spot.
Town of Merton
Wards 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9, Town Hall, W314 N7624 Highway 83, North Lake; and Wards 4, 5 and 6 Stone Bank Firehouse, W335 N7107 Stone Bank Road. Longtime Supervisor George Miller faces challenger Mark Lichte in the race for Supervisor 1. Incumbent Don Herrick vies with Barry Curci for the Supervisor 3 seat.
Town of Oconomowoc
Wards 1, 2 and 4 Town Hall, W359 N6812 Brown St.; 3, 6 and 7 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, N60 W35980 Lake Drive (Highways P and Z), 5, 8 and 9 at Okauchee Fire Station, W349 N5060 Shady Lane.
Town of Summit
All Wards, Summit Town Hall, 2911 N. Dousman Road, Oconomowoc. Two supervisor seats are open. Incumbent Jack Riley faces Scott Piefer, James Breen and Elizabeth Dow.
Village of Chenequa

Village of Hartland

Village of Merton

School races
Electors vote for school board at their regular municipal polling places. Races see incumbent Al Zietlow taking on Laura Moranchek in the Arrowhead Lake Country seat; and incumbent Jack Gutschenritter taking on Lynn Rotolo-Johnson for the Arrowhead at-large seat.
In the Hartland-Lakeside School District, Laura Johnson, Ted Skelton and Scott Conway are seeking two open seats.
Three seats are up for grabs in the Pewaukee School District. Incumbents Frank Goodwin, James Huisman and Ann Wells face Chris Durski.
Anthony Drew and Melissa Krogmann are seeking a spot on the Stone Bank School Board.
Recently appointed board member Michael Weber Marett and incumbent Andrah Grothey face John Quast and Karen Trimble in the race for the Swallow School Board, where two seats are up for election.
