IBS finds bigger
space in Brookfield
International Business Systems (IBS) will relocate this month to its new space in Brookfield.
The new location, 3400 Intertech Drive, is larger, at 3,995 square feet. Its former Pewaukee space could house about 20 people in 3,270 square foot.
IBS CEO Doug Braun explained that he was looking for more space to accommodate company growth projections. IBS, which currently employs 18 people, is in the process of hiring 10 additional employees in the Milwaukee area.
IBS offers consulting services, enterprise resource management software and business applications to help businesses move products more efficiently.
Hartland company honored for fast growth
Inc. Magazine announced that Johnson Creek Enterprises in Hartland, makers of America's No. 1 Smoke Juice, is one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in America.
This is the 32nd annual list and Johnson Creek's first appearance.
Johnson Creek earned these rankings after five years of operation. What started as an experiment in Berkey's basement now employs 50 people and is growing at a rate of 511 percent over the past three years.
Johnson Creek Enterprises revolutionized the e-smoking industry as the first company to produce and manufacture Smoke Juice for electronic cigarettes in the United States.
