Methamphetamine next big drug, law enforcement says
Methamphetamines, or “crystal meth,” will soon replace heroin as the drug of choice in Waukesha County, Metro Drug Unit Capt. Frank McElderry said Wednesday at a forum hosted by an anti-drug coalition.
Man sentenced for heroin death
Michael J. Bargender was sentenced May 6 to four years' imprisonment and six years' extended supervision after pleading guilty in February to providing the heroin that killed Pewaukee resident Mark Hoese.
Motorcyclist makes 'worst mistake'
A 23-year-old Waukesha motorcyclist admitted to making one of his "worst mistakes" in allegedly trying to outrun a Sheriff's Department deputy in the City of Delafield on May 1, eventually reaching speeds of up to 100 mph before crashing in a ditch.
Dad convicted in molestation
A 44-year-old Hartland man was convicted April 23 of second-degree sexual assault. He was charged in October 2012 with sexually molesting his mentally handicapped daughter. He is not being named to protect her identity.(1)
Man allegedly 'clubs' mother's boyfriend
A 19-year-old Pewaukee man was charged with allegedly hitting his mother's boyfriend with a golf club last week, bloodying his face and causing swelling over both his eyes.
