Village of Hartland
Burglary
Police responded to 655 Surrey Lane for a report of a burglary that took place sometime between 7 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Aug. 6.
According to the police report, the tenant, Rebecca L. Niklasch, told authorities that more than $2,000 in jewelry and money was stolen from the bedroom of the locked residence.
Police are investigating.
Theft
On Aug. 28, police were called to 512 Hartridge Drive for a theft complaint.
Jennifer Whelan told police that her sister, Jackie Moretti, 631 Hartridge Drive, stole her ring and returned it after being confronted.
Moretti was cited for theft.
City of Delafield
Theft
Charges are pending against four subjects after a string of retail thefts at Kohl's, 3105 Golf Road.
They were first involved in a shoplifting incident Aug. 16 at Kohl's but were not caught, according to the police report.
However, they were caught when they came back Aug. 26 to shoplift again, the report said.
Theft
Crystal Portz of Delafield notified police at 10:50 a.m. Aug. 26 that her son's bicycle was stolen from Joe Armeli's Meat 'n Place, 621 Milwaukee St., where he works.
She said the theft occurred between 4 and 11 p.m. Aug. 24; the bike had been parked behind the restaurant.
The bike, which is a men's Trek mountain bike, valued at $50 to $100, was not locked to anything.
