Kettle Moraine's basbeall team kept its hopes for an undefeated season in the Classic 8 Conference alive Tuesday night. But the Lasers had to survive anxious moments in the final four innings against Catholic Memorial.

KM slugger Foltz closes fantastic career
There have been some outstanding hitters in the history of the girls softball program at Kettle Moraine High School, girls who have ranked with the best in the state. That list includes the likes of Aubri Rote, Brynn Wessberg and Katie McCann. All earned reputations for putting up huge offensive numbers.

With a missing head coach and unable to find an equalizer after an own goal in the 17th minute, it just wasn’t Lake Country Lutheran’s day when the girls soccer team faced Ozaukee in the state semifinal June 14.

Sixth inning the difference in state final
Execution stood out as the difference between Lake Country Lutheran and Greenwood in the WIAA Division 4 state championship game June 13 in Appleton, a game that turned in Greenwood's favor in the final innings of a 6-4 heatbreaker for Lightning nation.

So far this season, Kettle Moraine's league-leading baseball team has Arrowhead's number. After two games, that number is one.

AHS lacrosse falls to Verona
Three first-quarter goals by Verona proved to be too much to overcome for defending boys lacrosse state champion Arrowhead, and the Warhawks fell to Verona in the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation semifinals June 5, 6-4.

Warhawks baseball falls to Northstars
Arrowhead's baseball team opened the game in great fashion Thursday night against host Waukesha North, scoring six times in the top of the first inning. But as things played out six innings later, that six-run rally wasn't nearly big enough.

The Pewaukee baseball team defeated West Bend East on June 15 in the Brookfield Central Lancer Invitational, 4-1. The Pirates lost in the second game to Brookfield Central, 10-5 in 11 innings.
