LCL rolls over Living Word
Lake Country Lutheran's varsity boys basketball team won at home on Wednesday 60-39 in a Midwest Classic Conference basketball game.
Jacob Demman and Cal Swanson scored 14 and 13 points respectively for the Lighting. Jacob Emery ended up with 8 points. Mike Gartzke and Danny Groth each added 6 points.
"We had solid defense and balanced scoring where all 10 players scored," Lake Country Lutheran head boys basketball coach Cole Braun said. "We limited them to one shot each time down the floor and only gave up one offensive rebound on the night."
Brady Andersen will be sidelined for 10-14 days with a back injury.
"It was nice for the other guys to step up for him," Braun added.
LCL faces Brookfield Academy today.
