It's down to one final game. The bankroll is enjoying a big season, showing a profit of $1,250 for the year. Not many handicappers can boast about a number like that. It's been a great year.
Two weeks ago, I had both New England and the New York Giants winning divisional championships. And, not to brag, I also had the Giants upsetting Green Bay in the second round of the playoffs.
The point spread for Sunday's big game opened at New England (minus-3 points), and it's stayed right there. Las Vegas knows more than I do, but I would have the number just the opposite.
I think the Giants are on a roll right now, just like the Packers were last season. I'm taking New York.
My banker, Bri Bernhardt of US Bank in Hartland, also had both winners two weeks when invited to be the guest handicapper. That effort earned her a return appearance again this week. This week she's going with the chalk, taking New England to win the game, 31-27.
From my angle, I love the Giants. They're a better team than the Patriots. It's that simple. I've got New York winning the game, 34-24.
