Big Bend Halloween party Saturday
The Big Bend/Vernon Lions Club will host a community Halloween party for children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Big Bend Elementary School.
Toddlers through fifth-grade students are invited, and should come in costume. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes in four age categories.
Lots of activities will keep the children busy, with entertainment, photo opportunities, costume judging, free hot dogs, cookies and beverages, free pumpkins and goody bags to take home. Clowns will be on hand to paint faces and do balloon sculpting.
