Valuable carp on the loose in Eagle Spring Lake
If you come up with a carp on Eagle Spring Lake in the Town of Eagle that has been tagged by the Eagle Spring Management District, it could be worth $500.
The management district released two such carp in the lake last summer, but none were turned in. It has now tagged four more carp.
To be eligible for the reward, the carp must be caught by any legal means between May 1 and Sept. 6, 2010. The tag must be intact on the fish for the reward to be valid. Fish must be presented to district Chairman Thomas Day; he can be reached at (262) 594-3231.
