The senior meal program offers nutritious meals for people 60 and older, as well as educational and recreational programs.

Reservations are required 24 hours in advance, before 1 p.m., by calling the local site, BirchRock Apartments, (262) 363-4458, or the Department of Aging at (262) 548-7826. Meal donations of $4 are suggested.

Meals are served at BirchRock Apartments, 280 BirchRock Way, at 11:45 a.m.

Monday, Oct. 12: Baked Italian mostaccioli, tossed salad, French bread, mandarin oranges, sugar cookie or diet cookie

Tuesday, Oct. 13: Baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, dilled carrots, whole wheat bread, cinnamon rice pudding or diet pudding

Wednesday, Oct. 14: Cheesy potato soup, garlic mashed potatoes, barbecue pork on bun, cranberry juice, apple crisp or sliced apples

Thursday, Oct. 15: Beef rouladen with stuffing, spaetzles with gravy, red cabbage, rye bread, German chocolate cake or angel food cake

Friday, Oct. 16: Beef tips in gravy, mashed potatoes, two-tone beans, bread, fruited gelatin or diet gelatin
