Senior lunches

The senior meal program offers nutritious meals for people 60 and older.

Reservations are required 24 hours in advance, before 1 p.m., by calling the local site, BirchRock Apartments, (262) 363-4458, or the Department of Aging at (262) 548-7826. Meal donations of $4 are suggested.

Meals are served at BirchRock Apartments, 280 BirchRock Way, at 11:45 a.m.

Monday, Oct. 19: Chicken breast in mushroom sauce, baby red potatoes, winter-blend vegetables, bread and tropical fruit

Tuesday, Oct. 20: Hot turkey with gravy, glazed sweet potatoes, French-style green beans with pimiento, bread, tapioca or diet pudding

Wednesday, Oct. 21: Roast pork and gravy, mashed potatoes, Harvard beets, marble rye bread, black forest cake or diet cherry gelatin

Thursday, Oct. 22: Baked fish, au gratin potatoes, creamy coleslaw, rye roll, fresh fruit

Friday, Oct. 23: Pepper steak, garlic mashed potatoes, whole kernel corn, dinner roll, oatmeal cookie or plain cookie
