Senior Lunches 01/13/10
The senior meal program offers nutritious meals for people 60 and older, as well as educational and recreational programs.
Reservations are required 24 hours in advance, before 1 p.m., by calling the local site, BirchRock Apartments, (262) 363-4458, or the Department of Aging at (262) 548-7826. Meal donations of $4 are suggested.
Meals are served at BirchRock Apartments, 280 BirchRock Way, at 11:45 a.m.
Monday, Jan. 18: Waukesha County Furlough Day, all senior dining centers closed. No home delivered meals
Tuesday, Jan. 19:Chicken breast in mushroom sauce, rice pilaf, Brussels sprouts, bread, spiced apple ring, fruited gelatin or diet gelatin
Wednesday, Jan. 20: Baked fish, au gratin potatoes, creamy coleslaw, rye bread, mandarin oranges
Thursday, Jan. 21: Apple juice, chili, crackers, romaine salad, cornbread, ice cream or diet pudding
Friday, Jan. 22: Roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, bread, peach crisp or peaches
