Senior Lunches 01/20/2010
The senior meal program offers nutritious meals for people 60 and older, as well as educational and recreational programs.
Reservations are required 24 hours in advance, before 1 p.m., by calling the local site, BirchRock Apartments, (262) 363-4458, or the Department of Aging at (262) 548-7826. Meal donations of $4 are suggested.
Meals are served at BirchRock Apartments, 280 BirchRock Way, at 11:45 a.m.
Monday, Jan. 25: Beef vegetable soup, mixed vegetables, grilled chicken patty on bun, fruit mix, gingerbread or plain cake
Tuesday, Jan. 26:Roast pork with lite gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, spinach, bread, tropical fruit
Wednesday, Jan. 27: Beef macaroni casserole, green beans, whole-wheat dinner roll, pineapple, bar cookie or plain cookie
Thursday, Jan. 28: Turkey a la king over biscuit, fresh broccoli salad, pears, assorted pie or angel food cake
Friday, Jan. 29: Polish sausage on bun, German potato salad, cinnamon applesauce, oatmeal cookie or fruit
