Senior Lunches 02/03/2010
The senior meal program offers nutritious meals for people 60 and older, as well as educational and recreational programs.
Reservations are required 24 hours in advance, before 1 p.m., by calling the local site, BirchRock Apartments, (262) 363-4458, or the Department of Aging at (262) 548-7826. Meal donations of $4 are suggested.
Meals are served at BirchRock Apartments, 280 BirchRock Way, at 11:45 a.m.
Monday, Feb. 8: Sliced roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, California-blend vegetables, bread, Valentine cake or Lorna Doones
Tuesday, Feb. 9: Glazed ham, scalloped potatoes, two-tone beans, bread, fresh fruit
Wednesday, Feb. 10: Navy bean soup, crackers, baked beans, hamburger on bun, potato salad, sugar cookie or plain cookie
Thursday, Feb. 11: Garlic chicken breast, baked potato, fresh broccoli salad, whole-wheat dinner roll, coconut cream pie
Friday, Feb. 12: Swedish meatballs in gravy, parsley egg noodles, whole-kernel corn with pimiento, dinner roll, Mandarin oranges and pineapple
