Who's on spring ballot?
The deadline to file for the spring municipal and school elections was 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2.
Most incumbents are seeking re-election, many of them with no opposition.
Notably, Vernon Town Clerk Marie Kumershek is not running again.
Here's who you can expect to see on the ballot:
Towns
Eagle
The town chairman, two supervisors and the treasurer, all serving two-year terms, are up for re-election,
Town Chairman: Bob Kwiatkowski (inc.), W360 S10545 Nature Road
Supervisor: Arvy Rasmussen (inc.), S98 W36830 Hearthwood Lane
Supervisor: Dan West (inc.), S82 W35200 Mailman Road
Town Treasurer: James Pasterski (inc.), S108 W34745 Jacks Bay Road
Mukwonago
The town chairman is running unopposed. Three candidates will run for two supervisor seats, each for two-year terms.
Chairman: Dave Dubey (inc.) W304 S10308 Lakeview Drive
Supervisors Peter Topczewski (inc.) S71 W32398 Meadow Court, and Lyle Boucher (inc.), W337 S9466 Valley View Drive, will be challenged by James Hintz, W336 S9652 Red Brae Drive.
Vernon
The town chairman, two supervisors, clerk and town treasurer seats are open. All seats are two-year terms.
Chairman: Jim Slawny, W250 S8895 Center Drive
Treasurer: Laureen Dashek (inc.), W22 6S8130 Woodview Lane
Clerk: Sandy Porter, S103 W26500 Maple Ave., Mukwonago; Karen Schuh, W243 S7490 Evergreen, Mukwonago.
Supervisor No. 2: Thomas Bird (inc.), S67 W24325 Skyline Ave.; Rodell Singert, W254 S78990 Hilo Drive
Supervisor No. 4: Bill Craig (inc.), W232 S8545 Chateau Lane; Daniel Scherbarth, W266 S7680 Olympia Court S
Villages
Big Bend
The village president and three trustee seats are open. All terms are two years.
President: James Soneberg, (inc.), S90 W22970 Rose Ave.
Trustees: Mike Conn (inc.), W228 S8850 Jackson Parkway; Ron Peterson (inc.), S91 W22935 Milwaukee Ave.; Bob Heinemann (inc.), W230 S9085 Clark St.
Eagle
Three trustee seats are open, as well as the village president position, all for two-year terms.
President: Richard Spurrell (inc.) 301 S. Street
Trustees: Greg Scheff (inc.), 325 Elkhorn Road; Lee Greenberg (inc.), 603 Spinning Wheel Court; Katy Degenhardt (inc.), 601 Spinning Wheel Court; Mark Schoessow 602 Spinning Wheel Court.
Trustee Rick Block vacated his seat, which will be filled by appointment at a future board meeting per State Statutes.
Mukwonago
Village president and three trustee seats are open. All terms are two years.
President: Fred Winchowky (inc.), 520 Fox St.
Trustees: James Decker (inc.), 1138 Eastern Trail; Mark Penzkover (inc.), 659 Plank Road; Michael Sellenheim (inc.), 450 Highway E Unit 1; Elliot Bakst, 1212 Western Trail
North Prairie
The village president position will be on the spring ballot as well as three trustee seats, all for two-year terms.
Incumbent Deborah Hall, 404 Karin Drive, is seeking re-election and will square off against Joe Hoelkinger, 220 Cypress Point.

Schools
Mukwonago
Three incumbents will run unopposed for three-year terms to the board of education.
