Jake Diesler advanced as expected from Monday's subsectional in Waukesha, but he'll have company when the Mukwonago tennis team competes Wednesday in Racine.

Historically low round ties golfers for conference tourney title

Firing a round of 304 — thought to be the lowest 18-hole score in program history — Mukwonago finished tied for first at the Classic 8 Conference tournament at Washington County Golf Course.

Girls track and field

Pladies, Sinkler, McKeever win titles

The Mukwonago girls track and field team coasted to a regional title when it hosted Monday's WIAA meet, scoring 147 points in the nine-team gathering. Top-four finishers in each event advance to the sectional, held Thursday at Wisconsin Lutheran.

Celebration in Classic fashion for Mukwonago

Mukwonago's varsity girls softball team put the final touches on an outright Classic 8 Conference softball championship, one year after sharing the crown. When the WIAA playoff series begins Thursday for the Indians, they'll be the top seed in their Division 1 sectional.

Indians reign supreme in regional

Part one of the WIAA postseason is in the books for the Mukwonago boys track and field team. Hosting a WIAA regional, the Indians were as good as advertised, easily topping the field with 182.50 points. Wisconsin Lutheran was a distant second with 129 points.

Schueler helps Mukwonago win at West Bend

Mukwoango's varsity girls soccer team was at the West Bend Tournament on May 18 and came home with first place. The locals defeated Random Lake, 7-0, West Bend East, 3-1, and West Bend West, 1-0.

Mukwonago lacrosse team heading toward playoffs

The varsity boys lacrosse team had three home games last week, winning the final match in thrilling fashion after two close calls.

Tennis team takes sixth at conference

The Mukwonago boys tennis team scored 14 points at the Dick Arnold Classic 8 Conference Championships, held at Heyer Park on Saturday, and took sixth among eight squads.

Boys track and field

Indians put Classic 8 in deep freeze

Running in weather unfit for man or beast didn't bother Mukwonago's varsity boys track and field team on May 9 at Waukesha North High School. The Indians controlled the action in the Classic 8 Conference Outdoor Meet, winning with 164 points. Arrowhead was a distant second with 118.5 points.(1)

Indians continue onward march

After 15 games this spring, the Mukwonago varsity girls softball team is in really good shape, standing at 13-2 overall with a 9-1 record in the Classic 8 Conference, comfortably ahead of second place.

MHS girls slide into second place

It didn't seem likely that anyone would catch Arrowhead for the Classic 8 Conference girls outdoor track and field meet title, but Mukwonago did the next best thing.

Mukwonago pushes Memorial to brink

Mukwonago took league-leading Catholic Memorial to overtime in a crucial Classic 8 Conference soccer clash on May 8, but Cristina From and the Crusaders escaped with a 1-0 victory.
