Members of the Lake Country Family Church in Delafield and the Women's Center, a drug and alcohol rehab center in Milwaukee, sing Christmas carols at the Breakfast with the Reindeer event last Saturday morning in downtown Delafield.
Hope Richards, 3, of Delafield made herself comfortable in the Lake Country Fire Department fire truck. Fire Department staff made the truck accessible to the hundreds of children who came to the Breakfast with the Reindeer event last Saturday.
The Sasada family (from left: Liam, Calem, Danya and Mike) of Delafield were among the many families who came out to the Breakfast with the Reindeer event and got their picture taken with Santa Claus, his top elf and Cupid, one of three reindeer that made the trip to Delafield.
In addition to Dancer, Dasher was also present at the Breakfast with the Reindeer event. The reindeer are part of Jeff and Cindy Phillips' Reindeer Games company and farm based in the Town of Erin. The two reindeer, along with the seven others, travel to close to 50 holiday events from November through December across the area.
Delafield Chamber of Commerce and Tourism member Suzanne Schroeder, Executive Director Debra Smith and Ann Thompson, committee chair of the Delafield Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, served donuts, hot chocolate and milk at the Breakfast with the Reindeer event. The Chamber put on the event and accepted donations for the Kettle Moraine Food Pantry.
Julie Wallschlaeger, Santa's helper at Delafield's Breakfast with the Reindeer event, was by Cupid's side while families took pictures with her, Santa and Cupid. Mild temperatures and no snow saw a large turnout for the annual event.
