Hammer named to first team by WLT soccer coaches
Coaches from the Wisconsin Little Ten Conference voted on the All Conference teams at the soccer meeting recently.
DJ Bednar of Hartford was named the WLT Player of the Year. Bednar is a senior midfielder for the Orioles.
Oconomowoc senior forward Ryan Hammer was named to the first team along with junior midfielder Seth Sedlar of Slinger, junior forward Erik Boese of Wisconsin Lutheran, junior midfielder Jeremy Tutas of West Bend West, junior defender Ben Cooksey of Watertown, sophomore midfielder Drew Checolinski of Hartford, junior defender Lupe Alviso of Beaver Dam, sophomore midfielder Mitch Noreen of Slinger, senior forward Ben Galante of West Bend West and senior goalie Colin Stocking of Hartford.
Oconomowoc had two players, senior goalie David Stevens and junior defender Corbin Ellis placed on the second team along with Jared Stoflet of Beaver Dam, Mitch Rinn of West Bend West, Garrett Doubleday of Hartford, Karl Hansen of Wisconsin Lutheran, Billy Oswald of Watertown, Jordan Ward of Slinger, Zach Biermann of West Bend East, David Sundquist of Beaver Dam and Preston Crouchane of Slinger.
Sophomore midfielder Elijah Tesch of Oconomowoc was placed on the third team.
