On top of three erupting scandals, the IRS targeting conservative groups, AP wiretapping, and Benghazi whistle blowers, he stepped into another. He was pictured at a rainy press conference with the Prime Minister of Turkey. Two U.S. Marines were forced to hold an umbrella over the heads of state after the White House requested it, to keep Obama dry while he talked with the press. Never mind the staffers who are supposed to assume this role, Obama wanted another good photo op and ordered the Marines to hold the umbrellas. Marines are taught in basic training to NEVER carry umbrellas when in their Dress Blue Uniforms. Twitter and Facebook are blowing up with people mocking Obama for yet another bumbling failure of leadership. The scene would be comical if not for the very serious subtext: Why are the Marines good enough to hold an umbrella to keep Obama's head dry, but not good enough to respond to an ongoing terrorist attack in Benghazi where the lives of our diplomats are at stake? When Special Forces teams in Tripoli wanted to come to the rescue of Ambassador Chris Stephens and others, they were told "stand down," but when it starts raining at the White House, Obama says "hold my umbrella." --------------- Sad but true. The Commander-In-Chief, the all-knowing, intellectually superior, brilliant (or so we are told) President of the United States apparently has no knowledge of Marine protocol or history associated with such. He used Marines to HOLD UMBRELLAS for goodness sakes. With grace and class the Marines followed the orders of their ignorant and arrogant Commander-In-Chief. But military men and women across the country and serving around the globe are aghast at what the President made these two Marines do. Obama has no class. One military man equated what Obama did to treating the Marines as "butlers." It is obvious that Obama has no respect for the military. Many serving right now are aware of that. Obama cannot hold a candle next to the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect America each and every day. I am, of course, referring to Benghazi. Benghazi should be front and center during every broadcast or newspaper right now, since the congressional hearing on what happened took place a few days ago. Benghazi is an explosive story - ripe with lies, manipulations, distortions, and - most importantly - a White House, President, and Administration who left Americans to die rather than admit the truth. What journalist in their right mind would chose to ignore it? Journalists who have sold their souls to protect Obama, that's who. The horrific terrorist attack that took place on 9/11/12 has never been spoken about honestly by Obama or anyone in the Obama Administration. That much has become obvious by testimony by three people with close ties to the attack itself. The phony narrative put forth from the White House - blaming a YouTube video - was necessary in order to deflect attention from the dismal failure of Obama's "lead from behind" philosophy. The "lead from behind" philosophy flopped - and sadly four Americans died because of it. Because Obama and his crew wanted Americans to believe that terrorism was no longer a threat because bin Laden was dead, the events in Benghazi just could NOT be a terrorist attack. No, that didn't fit the playbook. And it was election time. A very important time for Obama. What happened in Benghazi, had the truth been known, would have jeopardized his re-election in November. So Obama sacrificed four Americans so he could be re-elected. Politics over the lives of people. Obama, Clinton, and all of those - including the mainstream media - involved in this cover-up should be ashamed. This Administration has not been honest from day one. The "talking points" that originally were drafted regarding Benghazi were severely altered - 12 times - and that is a fact. The final draft of talking points that the Administration chose to put forth - via Susan Rice on five Sunday talk shows - to the public had no reference to terrorists or terrorism as in the original. Nope. Such references were deleted, as well as CIA remarks that there were warnings about the safety of the Benghazi compound all along. From the Weekly Standard: The Benghazi Talking Points by Stephen Hayes: Did Americans hear any of this until now? Heck no. All we heard about was the idiotic claim that a video was responsible for "mob violence" in Libya. The media went along with this, nodding their heads in agreement without question. We now know that was a lie. A big lie. Gregory Hicks, a U.S. Diplomat and the second highest ranking American on the ground near Libya, testified that he was shocked when the Obama Administration blamed what happened at Benghazi on a YouTube video. He stated that Clinton knew right away this was a terrorist attack, as she talked to him on the phone. Why? Hicks also testified that U.S. troops that could have come to the aid of those in Benghazi during the attack were given an order to "stand down." WHY? Why did Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ignore the many requests for help - in the months prior to the attack and during the attack itself? Another very important question that needs to be asked is what was President Obama doing for seven hours after learning of the attack? By most accounts, he went to bed! Now, remember when the mainstream media and lefties went nuts simply because President Bush paused for seven minutes after reading a story to school children upon learning of the 9/11 attacks? He was berated. Made fun of. Called an idiot. No leader at all. Clueless. Didn't know what to do. Yet, Obama can go to bed and be MIA for seven hours during which four Americans - including a U.S. Ambassador - were on the losing end of a terrorist attack? Obama - the President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief - showed complete indifference to saving the lives of Americans during a terror attack. An attack that no one knew how long it would go on. Amazing. Is this what America has come to? Leave Americans behind to die for personal political gain? Remember years ago when Watergate happened? Democrats and Republicans united in an a real effort to learn the truth. Watergate hearings were broadcast on major news channels. Watergate was mentioned on a daily basis. No one deemed a search for the facts a " left-wing conspiracy" or a "right-wing conspiracy." And remember, no one died because of Watergate! Right now we have many on the left - including the media - calling the attempts to discover the truth about Benghazi as a right-wing witch hunt. The Associated Press even labeled the Benghazi hearings a "GOP Hearing." It is not. Others reported that Gregory Hicks "didn't lay a glove on Hillary" regarding her role in the Benghazi disaster. Hicks wasn' trying to "lay a glove" on Hillary. Hicks was simply giving the facts while testifying during a hearing. That's all. This is not political. It should not be made out to be political. When did trying to discover the truth about a horrific event - that cost four Americans their lives - become a Republican or Democrat thing? When did trying to learn the truth become something to be ignored? What really needs to happen here is that the President of the United States must answer some tough questions. For once in his presidency, Obama needs to be held accountable. What was the reason behind denying military assistance to those in the Benghazi compound, Mr. President? Why were Americans put in an insecure situation for months prior to the attack, Mr. President? Why was Ambassador Stevens rebuffed for months regarding his requests for additional security, Mr. President? Why did the Administration blame a video and actually blame America for allowing such a video to be made, Mr. President? Why, later at the funeral for those slain in Benghazi, did Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have the gall to tell family members of those murdered that the U.S. would bring whomever made the video to justice? What it all boils down to is the President of the United States and other high-ranking officials in his Administration did NOTHING to help Americans in a very dangerous situation. They left Americans to die. That little fact cannot be stated enough. Let it sink in. Sadly, the only reasons to explain such inaction and cold-hearted behavior include incompetence or selfish political aspirations, or a mix of both. Take your pick - any one of them is a disgrace. What is really infuriating and disturbing is a lack of honest reporting coming from the media. No one is asking any tough questions. The who, what, why, where, when, and how. In fact, the media is going out of its way to deflect any attention from Obama and Clinton in regards to Benghazi. They've gone into full attack mode on the people who are testifying as to what happened in Benghazi - they've resorted to blaming Republicans for asking difficult questions. Maybe the media should take a reflective moment and consider that Republicans HAVE to ask the tough questions because the media is simply refusing to do so. All in their effort to protect Obama and Clinton. Too bad the media - and Obama and Clinton - didn't seem to care too much about protecting Americans during a terrorist attack in Benghazi. Rather, Obama cared more about protecting his re-election chances and Clinton is protecting her presidential election chances come 2016. When Obama began his first term, in 2009, the overall attention to the war on terror changed - and not for the better. Obama and his Administration found dealing with terrorists to be more of an annoyance than anything else, akin to a buzzing fly that won't go away. The terrorism issue was pushed to the backburner, where it has festered. And it appears that terrorism will continue to be pushed to the backburner - putting the United States at risk for more terrorist attacks in the near future. The glimmer of hope that briefly shone after one of the Boston bombers was caught - when it looked like the bomber was actually going to be treated as an "enemy combatant" due to the fact that we are at war -disappeared. Nope. Couldn't do that to this poor "young man" or "mixed-up kid" or "normal college kid" (these are all terms the mainstream media is using to describe this monster). Instead, we are reverting back to the days of President Clinton - when terrorists and terrorism were treated as criminal matters. Didn't we learn way back then that treating terrorism as a criminal matter doesn't work? The lack of seriously addressing terrorist attacks, as well as the inability of major law enforcement agencies to collaborate together all contributed to setting the stage for the horrific terrorist attack on 9/11 that killed thousands. We cannot and must not try to rationalize and make excuses for the actions of Dzhokhar and Tamevlan Tsarnaev. The two men were, by all accounts, inspired by radical Islam and hated America. Very simple. Why can't Obama admit such? Why can't Obama even utter the words: radical Islam? In its efforts to ignore the fact that radical Islamic beliefs played a major role in the Boston bombings, the media and Obama are looking everywhere BUT at radical Islam. It's to the point where it has gotten almost laughable - the Boston Globe is even suggesting that because Tamevlan Tsarnaev (the older brother who was killed) was an amateur boxer for a short time, concussions may have played a role in his "personality change" and some scientists are expressing a desire to study his brain. Good grief!!! (One of the comments to this story hit the nail on the head: "How many bombings have been traced to Joe Frazier, Muhammed Ali, or ex-NFL players?" ) Going along with the media attempts to coddle these two monsters and ignore what the "Religion of Peace" part played in their evil actions, Eugene Kane of the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel is fond of calling murderers, rapists, gang bangers, and thugs - "knuckleheads." So why don't we just call Dzhokhar Tsarnaev a "knucklehead?" A knucklehead who just happened to set off a few bombs. A knucklehead who killed a policeman, three others, and wounded close to two hundred. A knucklehead who made a few mistakes in his young life. A knucklehead who deserves our compassion, after all, he must have been misguided. And he's just a KID! Wouldn't that be more in keeping with the narrative that Obama & Co. have set? Absurd, isn't it? Maybe in a world in which common sense triumphs over liberal feel-good policies... Sadly, the press seems to have once again tossed its responsibilities to the wind in order to continue to add more politically-correct pages to the Obama playbook. No reference to Islam. No reference to jihad. No references to the brothers being influenced by radical Islam and intense hatred of America. Very few references that their mother was a devout Muslim who believed that 9/11 was an inside job. And any good journalist worth his weight should really be checking out how these two monsters managed to live the high life - driving sports cars and dressing in the latest designer duds. Traveling - a lot. Yet neither appeared to have a j-o-b. And their father works for $10 an hour as an auto mechanic... Doesn't that seem to warrant just a wee bit of investigating? Not to mention how the FBI totally dropped the ball on this one and allowed the elder Tamevlan Tsarnaev to travel freely from the U.S. to Russia - for months at a time. Even when Russia (of all places!) suggested Tsarnaev was an individual who needed to be watched. Huge red flags were ignored in this case. After all, this IS Obama's new CIA/FBI - "culturally sensitive" organizations that really shouldn't look into radical Islam because, well heck!, we wouldn't want to offend anyone! Lets continue with how Obama is addressing terrorism in general: 1) Deny we are at war. 2) Deny there are radical Islamic terrorists whose main purpose in life appears to be killing infidels. (The Obama Administration has scratched the terms "war on terror" and "radical Islamists" from any discussion or speeches or policy manuals.) 3) Deny that there are people within our own borders who are hard at work scheming up future terrorist schemes and many of these schemes and anti-American sentiments have the support of Mosques and radical Imams in our own country. 4) Nod in agreement that America is so flawed that we bring these attacks upon ourselves. We deserve them. Obama loves to apologize for them. As Obama's favorite pastor once stated: "the chickens have come home to roost." Instead, let's continue to check out those nasty war veterans who return to our country with post-traumatic stress syndrome. Let's look at church groups and those evil Tea Party members!!! This time at the end of the Boston Marathon - a race attended by thousands of runners, spectators, and supporters. Two bombs detonated not far from each other near the finish line. So far three dead and over 100 wounded - many very seriously. A very sad day for our country. Images and thoughts of 9/11 once again surfaced, as we have not seen another terrorist attack on U.S. soil since that terrible day. Well, as someone once said it looks like, "the chickens have come home to roost." Whether one individual or several, whether domestic or foreign, doesn't matter - this WAS a terrorist attack. Designed to create terror. And whomever is responsible did succeed. Incredibly, just a few short hours after the bombs went off in Boston, liberal news channels were throwing out unsubstantiated theories as to who was responsible. From CNN, here is an exchange with Wolf Blitzer and two other commentors: “One intriguing notion, one intriguing thought here, and I’m curious, Mike, and I’ll ask Matt to weigh in as well,” Blitzer said. “It is a state holiday, in addition to the Boston Marathon. It is a state holiday in Massachusetts today called Patriots Day, and who knows if that has anything at all to deal — to do with these, these twin explosions.” Patriots Day is a holiday meant to commemorate the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the Revolutionary War. Blitzer continued to inquire to about that possibility, asking if there might have been an event to mark the anniversary. “As part of Boston’s — Massachusetts, I should say — Patriots Day, did you notice earlier in the day, Matt, any special Patriots Day events going on, anything pointing to a special day in Massachusetts?” From MSNBC and Chris Matthews comes the following: "Normally domestic terrorists, people, tend to be on the far right......Well, Michael, Tax Day today. That came up. You know, I was thinking of all the iconic events, or being told about them today. Of course, I knew it was Tax Day because I got them in. But of course, it's Patriots Day. It's also the Boston Marathon. And would you as an expert be thinking domestic at this point? I don't think Tax Day means a whole lot to the Arab world or Islamic world or the, certainly not to al Qaeda in terms of their world. It doesn't have any iconic significance." Gosh, the blame game started early! Even though President Obama - yes, the President! - came out on Monday and said we must not jump to conclusions as to who did this (although, didn't Obama jump to conclusions regarding a little incident with his buddy, Professor Henry Gates when Obama dissed policemen saying "they acted stupidly" without knowing the facts??? (Remember how that little episode resulted in an idiotic "Beer Summit?") Didn't Obama jump to conclusions in blaming a YouTube video - for several weeks - as the root cause of an attack on Benghazi??? even when Obama and the Administration KNEW it was a terrorist attack from the start? What a hypocrite. But I digress...) And Obama skillfully avoided using the word "terror" or "terrorists" when initially commenting on the Boston attack - although I have no clue as to why he refused to utter the words. Obama also stated: "We will find out who did this. We'll find out why they did this. Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups, will feel the full weight of justice." Hey, isn't that the exact same thing Obama said when referring to the Benghazi terrorist attack? (Did the Obama speech writers just cut-and-paste Obama's Benghazi remarks? You know, Benghazi - the attack that the Obama Administration just wishes would go away and just be forgotten?) The same attack that saw a U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans killed? Where are their killers? What "justice" has been done? Yet again, I digress... And then we have the usual suspects - Democrats with the accomplice media - joining in to play the blame game. The bombing in Boston is a result of.....the sequester!!!! Yes, those shameless Democrats are accusing "the sequester" (a teeny tiny slowdown in massive spending) for the bombing. House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), responding to a question at a Tuesday morning press conference, said the bombings are “clearly another place where it demonstrates why having the ability to address security concerns is important....I think there are multiple reasons for ensuring that we invest in our security both domestic and international security. That we invest in the education of our children, that we invest in growing jobs in America and don’t pursue any irrational policy of cutting the highest priorities and the lowest priorities by essentially the same percentage.” Rep. Xavier Becerra of California, the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, said that the first responders working Monday aren’t sheltered from cuts: “We have to send you less money to help your first responders." So it appears that even though law enforcement is still reporting that they do not have any suspects nor have they apprehending any person or peoples responsible for the Boston bombings, it looks like the media and Democrats have figured out who the suspects are: right wing extremists who hate paying taxes, working with their partner in crime - the sequestration. Unbelievable. What caused the Boston Massacre is really quite simple: evil. Evil people exist and evil people wish to do us harm. And we must not falter and let down our guard, nor try to placate our enemies by making ourselves weaker in the process. We must stand firm and strong as a nation and continue to fight against terrorism and terrorists everywhere. In closing, where oh where is true leadership - where oh where is George W. These two stories deserve some attention, not for what they report, but for what they leave out and chose NOT to mention. The articles in question would have made front page news and glaring headlines ONLY if President Bush was still sitting in the Oval Office. Keep that in mind: front page news! headlines! However, since Obama is in the White House, the stories are buried deep in the main section for one reason - to protect The One - Barry Hussein Obama - from criticism. First story: "Discouraged Americans give up job hunt: Four years after Great Recession many seek government help" by Paul Wiseman and Jessie Washington of the Associated Press. Page 12A... A small blurb: "...the numbers of Americans in the labor force - those who have a job or are looking for one - fell by nearly half a million people from February to March, the government said Friday. And the percentage of working-age adults in the labor force - what's called the participation rate - fell to 63.3% last month. It's the lowest figure since May 1979. The falling participation rate tarnished the only apparent good news in the jobs report the Labor Department released Friday: the unemployment rate dropped to a four-year low of 7.6% in March from 7.7% in February. People without a job who stop looking for one are no longer counted as unemployed. That's why the U.S. unemployment rate dropped in March despite weak hiring." What is missing in this almost half-page, 32-paragraph article? Not one mention of President Obama. Not a one!!! Think if this dismal jobs report would have occurred during Bush's terms that his name would have not been tied in to the lackluster, depressing news? We conservatives have no doubt that the media would have bent over backwards to gleefully mention, blame, and criticize Bush about it. Yet, not a peep about The One. Nada. Nothing. We CANNOT and MUST NOT criticize The One!!! Second story: "U.S. Delays missile test as tensions rise" (from World/Nation). A small 3-paragraph blurb dedicated to the escalating threats from North Korea. Buried on page 13A of the main section. North Korea continues to thumb its nose at the U.S. and laugh at us. Now they are threatening to attack the United States with nuclear weapons. Geez. Isn't that kind of worrisome? Shouldn't the United States be concerned and addressing the threats? Nah. Stuff like this isn't important anymore - especially to the low-information voters among us who are more concerned with who will win American Idol or who is the latest celebrity featured on the cover of People magazine... And guess what is missing yet again? Yep, you got it! Not one mention of The One. Not one mention about Obama or what President Obama is doing about this situation. Oh yeah, I forgot! It's March Madness/NCAA time! Obama probably cannot be bothered...too busy watching basketball (he's been to a few games already - even rubbed elbows with RGIII!!!! WOW!!! COOL!!!... Why let a silly little thing like "leadership" get in the way when it never has before???) We need to "level the playing field." In Obama-speak, however, the real meaning of the word "fair" has been spun, twisted, and distorted. Obama's definition of "fair" speaks directly to his socialist agenda for the nation. Obama uses the word "fair" to go after those who work hard, and/or are successful, and/or prosperous. Such individuals are targets for Obama. They need to pay more to the government to provide for those who may not work hard, many not be as successful, or may not be as prosperous. Being "fair" in Obama-speak simply means taking from the haves to give to the have-nots. After all, in Obama's view, the wealthy are only wealthy because they have taken from the poor. The poor are poor because of the wealthy. As stated before, Obama often says we have to "level the playing field." This means tear down the wealthy, take their money, and redistribute it. Make everyone "equal." Socialism at its finest. Personal responsibility - dirty words to Democrats and socialists - doesn't play into the political ideology that Obama is putting forth. Obama is not the first Democrat to distort and misinterpret the true meaning of the word "fair." Let's examine a few cases of "fairness" that have led to the detriment of society as a whole. 1) First up, the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977. In an effort to be "fair, the U.S. federal government forced banks and other lending institutions to provide loans on home purchases to people who could ill afford to make the payments. After all, shouldn't EVERYONE in America have the "right" to home ownership? no matter how bad their credit rating was? no matter what income level they were at? no matter how bad their ability to manage their own finances appeared to be? Another failed liberal pipe dream. This pathetic "feel good" effort to be "fair" led to major economic downfalls that the United States continues to reel from. 2) Across the nation, many school districts are doing away with honor rolls. A small blip in the big scheme of things, but a perfect example of where we are headed on the road to "fairness." Honor rolls list the names of those students who work hard and achieve a certain grade point average above and beyond the average expectations. Many people associated with schools felt that honor rolls were "unfair" to those students who did not get good grades like their peers. So, rather than recognize those who went above and beyond expectations, many school systems did away with their honor rolls. They didn't want any students who were not on honor rolls to feel bad. (Never mind that those students who deserved to be on honor rolls were slighted. Is that "fair?") Sad, but again, to be expected in a society intent on celebrating mediocrity. 3) Obama often speaks of "fair" in regards to paying taxes to the federal government. In Obama-speak, what this really means is: the rich have to be made to pay more for the spending mismanagement of the federal government. Imagine if your neighbor spent money like a drunken sailor, was in debt to his many creditors, yet didn't try to save or cut spending in any manner? Rather, he continued to live the high life, spending even more, vacationing, buying nice toys and luxuries for his friends, while doing nothing to address his own dire fiscal situation. Let's say your neighbor was a big guy - a real bully - one you couldn't mess with or defend yourself against. So, when your neighbor needed more cash, he'd just come over to your house and demand that you hand over a few thousand dollars. He would continue with his reckless spending, knowing he could always knock on your door in an effort to maintain his lifestyle without having to be responsible for it. This is the exact same thing the federal government is doing to the wealthiest among us. Bullying and punishing the rich over and over - taking more and more of their money via taxes - all to pay for their own fiscal mess and reckless spending. Obama and the left are always beating the drum about making the rich "pay their fair share." According to the Congressional Budget Office, 10% of American households with the highest incomes pay more than half of all federal taxes. They pay more than 70% of federal income taxes. Is this really "fair?" What is a "fair" share according to Obama and Co.? 4) In sports we have witnessed many youth athletic programs doing away with scorekeeping. Rather, kids are being made to play just for the satisfaction of playing. Gone is any real sense of competition, because no one wins and no one loses. We wouldn't want to make anyone feel bad by losing now, would we? From a website on youngsters being taught how to target-shoot (Wire Shots), we learn of two Americas. One where children are forever protected by their parents and society, coddled without any adversity. And then we see another America, where kids face competition, are not treated like babies their entire life, and grow into responsible citizens - able to handle the challenges life has to offer. Here's a brief blurb: "In the year 2013 and for the previous several years, we have seen the fruits of the first America. Children, who did not remain prepubescent angels but grew up, are now adult age. Having been sheltered, not just from danger or risk, but from responsibility and consequences, they are incapable of dealing with adversity. Having been raised in an era of equalized fairness, one where sports teams don’t keep score and passing grades are given to every child who shows up, these young adults are shocked when inevitable adversity and life challenges arise. They have been slapped in the face by the cold reality that how they “feel” about this or that has no bearing on their ability to get a job or keep one. Many of these grown children become the basement-dwelling adult kids still living with their parents. Also, having discovered that the “mean-spirited” and “uncaring” corporate world has absolutely no concern for their self-esteem or feelings of entitlement, they look to an omnipotent government to make all things right in their world." I could go on and on with more examples of how the word "fair" has been incorrectly tossed around in the public arena. How such a simple word - "fair" - has become distorted over time. How such a simple word has been used and abused by Barack Obama and his minions. How such a simple word makes me cringe every time I hear Barack Obama utter it. Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama’s have taken lies, dishonesty, deceit, mendacity, subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths. They are verbally abusive to the citizenry and they display an animus for civility. I do not like them, because they both display bigotry overtly, as in the case of Harvard Professor Louis Gates, when he accused the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly, and her code speak pursuant to now being able to be proud of America. I view that statement and that mindset as an insult to those who died to provide a country where a Kenyan, his illegal alien relatives, and his alleged progeny, could come and not only live freely, but rise to the highest, most powerful, position in the world. Michelle Obama is free to hate and disparage whites, because Americans of every description paid with their blood to ensure her right to do same. I have a saying, that “the only reason a person hides things, is because they have something to hide.” No president in history has spent over a million dollars to keep his records and his past sealed. And what the two of them have shared has been proved to be lies. He lied about when and how they met, he lied about his mother’s death and problems with insurance, Michelle lied to a crowd pursuant to nearly $500,000 bank stocks they inherited from his family. He has lied about his father’s military service, about the civil rights movement, ad nauseum. He lied to the world about the Supreme Court in a State of the Union address. He berated and publicly insulted a sitting Congressman. He has surrounded himself with the most rabidly, radical, socialist academicians today. He has fought for abortion procedures and opposed rulings that protected women and children, that even Planned Parenthood did not seek to support. He is openly hostile to business and aggressively hostile to Israel. His wife treats being the First Lady, as her personal American Express Black Card (arguably the most prestigious credit card in the world). I condemn them because, as people are suffering, losing their homes, their jobs, their retirements, he and his family are arrogantly showing off their life of entitlement – as he goes about creating and fomenting class warfare. I don’t like them, and I neither apologize nor retreat from my public condemnation of them and of his policies. We should condemn them for the disrespect they show our people, for his willful and unconstitutional actions pursuant to obeying the Constitutional parameters he is bound by, and his willful disregard for Congressional authority. Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin, it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies. And I have open scorn for their playing the race. It is my intention to do all within my ability to ensure their reign is one term. I could go on, but let me conclude with this. I condemn in the strongest possible terms the media for refusing to investigate them as they did President Bush and President Clinton, and for refusing to label them for what they truly are. There is no scenario known to man, whereby a white president and his wife could ignore laws, flaunt their position, and lord over the people as these two are permitted out of fear for their color. Here are my quick hits: 1) A memo from the upper echelon of the White House recently surfaced regarding the slow down in spending (not "cuts" as the media keeps reporting) known as the sequestration. The memo advised those departments who had to scale back a wee bit on spending to make sure they kept in line with the White House drumbeat of how painful these "cuts" (aka: a temporary tiny spending slowdown) will be. From the Washington Post: "In the internal email, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service official Charles Brown said he asked if he could try to spread out the sequester cuts in his region to minimize the impact, and he said he was told not to do anything that would lessen the dire impacts Congress had been warned of. “We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS" would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be,” Mr. Brown, in the internal email, said his superiors told him." BECAUSE of the sequestration - why in the world did our newest Secretary of State, John Kerry, pledge almost $250 million dollars in aide to Egypt - a country led by the Muslim Brotherhood??? Why is the United States giving $15 million to Pakistan? Why is the government buying new TSA uniforms for $50 million dollars? Why aren't journalists directing such questions at Obama? Scary thought that the President of the United States - who takes an oath to protect our nation - is doing everything he can to make the citizens "hurt" as much as possible simply for his own political purposes... 2) Lefties, and communists everywhere were besides themselves with grief this past week with the passing of Venezuela's evil anti-American, socialist dictator Hugo Chavez. (What was very surprising was that Obama did not order flags flown at half-mast to honor Chavez!) After all, given their political ideologies, Chavez and Obama are practically twins separated at birth!) During his reign, Chavez took from the producers of his own country, attacked the rich, seized lands, and kept the poor equally miserable, while pretending he was a president for "the people." All the while Chavez himself accumulated great wealth and power - at the expense of "the people," of course. (Sound familiar? Should be. It's what Americans are currently experiencing at the hands of The One.) I only wish that who were head-over-heels in adoration with Chavez, like Hollywood socialists Sean Penn, Danny Glover, and Oliver Stone, etc., would just move to Venezuela and stay there. Good riddance, Hugo Chavez. 3) Interesting note. The WIAA High School Boys Basketball finals were televised this weekend. Several really good games were played. What was noticeably missing during the broadcasts, however, were any of the usual commercials run by WEAC (Wisconsin Education Association Council) If anyone else watched the WIAA high school sports finals on television in prior years, a standard fixture were the WEAC ads. They were the ones stating that "each child deserves a great school!" During the ACT10 protests in Madison, most in the state learned how ironic this motto really was. After all, in past years, school administrators and school boards struggled for ways to balance budgets while WEAC officials refused to accept financial concessions that would have helped maintain quality programming for students. Prior to ACT10, school districts across the state had to layoff teachers, increase class sizes, and cut student programs simply because WEAC refused to budge on accepting temporary pay freezes, or contributing a tiny portion of their on pay towards their own health insurance and pension plans. My guess is that WEAC, which after ACT 10 lost a lot of members now that teachers can no longer be forced to join (and pay hefty union dues), doesn't have the money to spend on false advertising anymore. 4) Kudos to Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) for his recent filibuster designed to bring attention to how Obama & Co. are ignoring the United States Constitution. Senator Paul talked on the senate floor for almost 13 hours, pointing out that the drone program Obama has in place should NOT be allowed to target American citizens on American soil. From The Washington Post: “I will speak until I can no longer speak,” Paul said as he began. “I will speak as long as it takes, until the alarm is sounded from coast to coast that our Constitution is important, that your rights to trial by jury are precious, that no American should be killed by a drone on American soil without first being charged with a crime, without first being found to be guilty by a court.” A small - yet very important - victory came after the filibuster, when Attorney General Eric Holder sent Paul a letter saying that the Obama Administration would not use drones on Americans on American soil. This was the answer Paul and others were seeking - the answer that Obama and Holder and Co. refused to conceed to prior to the filibuster. Paul forced their hand, brought attention to what the Obama Administration was trying to do, and won. Now if only more Republicans and conservatives in Washington D.C would grow a spine and stand up to Obama. America and Americans would be better off. We need people in Washington D.C. willing to defend our Constitution and stand up for the rights of the American people. ...and last but not least: 5) On his radio show Friday, March 8th, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh talked about a study on bloggers. It seems that many of the younger writers are becoming afraid to post blogs for fear of the nasty comments that will come their way. In addition, some bloggers have taken to not accepting comments at all. Limbaugh stated that the most mean-spirited and hate-filled comments come from....take a guess....those of the liberal ilk. The study also wondered if the people posting such awful comments would behave the same way in person. It concluded that some, indeed, are as nasty in person as they are when hiding behind fake names and throwing mud. Amazing. Isn't it disappointing that people cannot write a post without expecting vile, obscene, hate-filled, and personal attacks to be thrown at them? I know. Every one of my posts receives many of such comments, which I am able to delete - thankfully. A spokesman for Babeu told FoxNews.com that ICE officials have said they plan to release a total of nearly 10,000 illegal immigrants. Babeu described the move as a “mass budget pardon” and suggested the administration was going to unnecessary lengths to demonstrate the impact of the so-called sequester. “President Obama would never release 500 criminal illegals to the streets of his hometown, yet he has no problem with releasing them in Arizona. The safety of the public is threatened and the rule of law discarded as a political tactic in this sequester battle,” he said. – Fox News IN "ANTICIPATION" OF BUDGET CUTS??? Give me a break. This is Obama - following the Chicago playbook for creating chaos and panic. Stirring up the masses because most Americans don't appear too concerned about the "sequester" and aren't listening to Obama's doom-and-gloom campaign message about such. We've heard it all before. Obama cries wolf - the media plays it up - people panic - and in the end, Obama gets what he wants. This time his M.O. regarding a tiny slow-down in spending doesn't appear to be working, so he had to do something drastic - and dangerous. People, this is NOT the type of action of a president. What Obama is doing is NOT in the best interest of the United States - it is the polar opposite. Releasing dangerous - and illegal - prisoners into the country to make a point about how "dangerous" the sequestration will be has gone way too far - even for The One. This president is putting people's lives at risk for nothing more than political gain. (And the ironic part of all of this is that in 2011, Obama vowed to enforce "sequestration!" Of course we were not going to watch an awards ceremony made up of Hollywood lefties patting themselves on the backs and awarding awards to themselves - content to bask in the adoration of the "little people" who made them stars in the first place. We actually joked about how the Obama's - who love to insert themselves into every media or sporting event - wouldn't be making an appearance - that even they wouldn't be able to pull off an Oscar visit... Guess we were wrong. Never before has a First Lady or president - been involved with the Oscars - especially to present an award. Yet, here we had Michelle Obama - surrounded by props of military personnel - presenting The Best Picture award. Being "streamlined" from the White House. Did anyone "feel proud for their country" at this moment? No, I would venture to say. Many felt shame and disgust. Rush Limbaugh pegged this one for what it was worth. The wife of President Barack Hussein Obama - the very same same Obama - who allowed four Americans (including a U.S. Ambassador) to die at an Embassy during his watch, and then proceeded to cover up any investigation into the debacle - ends up presenting the best picture award to "Argo" - a movie about saving Americans stuck at an Embassy! The irony is priceless. And Michelle Obama - during her bloviating speech - did not even bother to pay tribute to the military or the military personnel being used as props behind her. Instead, she talked about "gay marriage" and being all the best we can be no matter who we are - yet neglected to mention anything about the United States military. New outlets even have asked the question: "why WAS Michelle Obama at the Oscars?" Exactly. The Obama's have no shame. They love the limelight. They are no better - or any smarter - than the Kardashians...or Honey Boo Boo...or American Idol. No wonder Obama is often called "President Kardashian." (At least the stories of the little man-child golfing with Tiger Woods are finally tapering off....) Sadly, many of the low-information voters eat this stuff up. We deserve the people we elect. Guess we as a country really did something wrong - and are being punished with the Obamas for another four years. Cool, hip, trendy. Yet - totally unpresidential. Dittos for his little missus. Three good comments from viewers on Michelle's Oscar gig: "They should make a movie on Benghazi and then let her announce it." and... "We are now in the age were government and hollywood are now one in the same. Smoke and mirrors on the state run media, and propaganda shows and movies on the TV. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime. In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?" The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time. One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as a free lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself. If you see that all of this wonderful government "help" is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might want to send this story on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you will probably not want to share this story with others. BUT, God help us all when the gate slams shut! With this prayer breakfast speech, Dr. Carson has succeeded in stirring up the wrath of liberals/socialists everywhere. Just watch Obama - with his arrogant smirk gone, looking down - appearing uncomfortable because Dr. Carson is clearly speaking out against the destructive intentions that Obama has for the country.. Using facts, examples, observations, personal insight, and his own history of growing up in poverty and achieving success, Dr. Carson manages to convey common sense solutions to many of the problems America faces. And he does so in an eloquent and straightforward manner - speaking about the importance of a good education (learning enables one to truly be free), personal responsibility (those two words the lefties hate), love of country (many on the left cannot relate, and we currently have a president who doesn't like the very country he was elected to represent), and a real solution to health care issues (a direct slap at Obamacare). The conservative movement needs people like Dr. Carson. Just as we need more Paul Ryans and Marco Rubios. Dorner's murderous rampage and subsequent manhunt began when he shot Monica Quan and her fiancé Keith Lawrence in Irvine, California on February 3rd. On February 7th, Dorner killed a police officer and wounded two others during a stand-off near Big Bear Lake, California. Dorner appears to have lost his life when the cabin he was trapped in burned to the ground. During this week-long episode, the mainstream media provided a lot of information about Christopher Dorner. We learned that Dorner was a former LAPD cop. We learned that Dorner was a former Navy reservist. We learned that Dorner graduated in 2001 from Southern Utah University where he majored in political science. We learned that Dorner earned awards for rifle and pistol marksmanship while in the Navy Reserves. We learned that Dorner had been fired from the LAPD in 2009 for allegedly making false statements about a fellow officer. We learned that Dorner had written a lengthy, hate-filled manifesto prior to going on his killing spree. What we did not learn was that Christopher Dorner was a liberal. Here's what the mainstream media has tended to "overlook" in its "reporting:" Dorner supported gun control. Dorner was a fan of CNN and MSNBC. Dorner "embraced" the LGBT community. Dorner was a big fan of Piers Morgan (in his manifesto he wrote: "Give Piers Morgan an indefinite resident alien and Visa card"). Dorner praised President Obama and criticized those who disagreed with him. Dorner ranted against the NRA. Dorner mentioned Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough, Pat Harvey, Brian Williams, Soledad O'Brien, Wolf Blitzer, Meredith Viera, Tavis Smiley, and Anderson Cooper and encouraged them to "keep up the great work and follow Cronkite's lead." To the head of the NRA, Dorner wrote: "Wayne LaPierre, President of the NRA, you're a vile and inhumane piece of sh*t. You are a failure of a human being. May all of your immediate and distant family die horrific deaths in front of you." Examples of Dorner's liberal leanings can be found throughout his manifesto. Sadly, many news outlets refused to report on ALL the pages of the manifesto (specifically those that shed light on Dorner's liberal ideology). Why wasn't Dorner's political persuasion big news? After all, whenever there is a mass shooting and/or murderous spree around the country, the media immediately shifts into overdrive attempting to tie in the shooter(s) with the Republican or Tea Party, or conservative ideology. Even when there is NO link, the media will manufacture one until the facts come out to prove otherwise. Remember Jared Loughner - the Arizona shooter? Immediately the media tried to tie in Loughner to the right. Paul Krugman of the New York Times implied that the shooting took place because Democrat Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (who was wounded during the shooting and has now become Obama's emotional pawn promoting anti-gun legislation) seat was not won by a Republican. Other "journalists" tried to blame Sarah Palin - saying Palin's remark "Don't retreat - reload" or Palin's map on her website, using targets on key states that Republicans should focus on for upcoming elections, were to blame. Eventually, all the speculation and misleading reports were exposed for what they were - falsehoods. (Never mind that Loughner had many leftie anti-American books in his reading collection...) And what about the Aurora theater shooting? Shortly after the massacre, ABC's Brian Ross stated that the Colorado shooter - Jamie Holmes - was a Tea Party member. Ross was wrong. Holmes was not a Tea Party member, nor affiliated with the Tea Party in any way. ABC later had to apologize to viewers for their outright lie. Holmes was later found to be mentally unstable. Closer to home, the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek was devastated when shooter Wade Michael Page opened fire, killing six people and wounding four others. Immediately, the media tried to link Page to the "extreme right." Later it was learned that Page considered himself to be a "neo-Nazi." (Lest anyone need reminding, Nazism is closer to socialism and liberalism.) Attempts to paint Page as an "extreme right-winger" later fizzled - as they should have. More recently the Sandy Hook school shootings captured the attention of the nation. The media flocked to the scene like vultures, reporting non-stop for weeks on the mass murders and subsequent investigation in the town. Of course, in their efforts to get the story out, they obsessed over Adam Lanza's mother's gun collection. In a shameless attempt to create a link between Lanza's mom and the right, journalists reported that Nancy Lanza was a "doomsday prepper" and had a real fondness for guns as exhibited by her vast collection of firearms. It eventually came out that Lanza was NOT a "doomsday prepper" and that she considered her guns a "hobby" and loved target-shooting. Adam Lanza, the actual shooter, appears to have had mental issues and no political affiliation whatsoever. Back to Christopher Dorner - Here IS a shooter and killer who actually stated support of liberals and liberal causes in his own manifesto. WHY ISN'T SUCH INFORMATION CONSIDERED NEWSWORTHY by the mainstream media? Yet, was Lewis ever put under the scrutiny that Tim Tebow - also a Christian, (lacking the notorious background of Lewis) suffered at the hands of the media and the usual anti-religious crowd? Was Lewis made fun of the way Tebow was? No. Why not? Could there be a racist element at play here? 2) Obama and his Administration, famous for going after "waterboarding" as some sort of horrific torture device which needed to be done away with to protect the "rights" of terrorists, now want to institute a plan in which Americans who may or may not be terrorists can be killed by drones. OK. I get it. It's NOT OK to use "enhanced interrogation techniques" against known terrorists, but it IS OK just to kill people - including Americans - who may or may not be terrorists? 3) No one can criticize First Queen Michelle Obama's large derrière, but it is OK for Ms. Obama to dictate to school cafeterias across the country what they can and cannot serve to students in order for the students to "be healthy." 4) So Beyonce (BFF of Obama) has to lip-synch the national anthem at her buddies recent coronation, yet she can belt out her own tunes at the Super Bowl halftime show??? What's up with that? Oh, I do suppose that like Obama, she probably could have cared less about The Star-Spangled Banner and what it means, when her own hits are much more important to the uninformed masses... 5) The Obama administration that is so busy right now clamping down on the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens had no problem giving guns to members of Mexican drug cartels with reckless abandon. The guns passed along to criminals during Obama's "Fast and Furious" operation have been used to kill innocent people who got in the way of the Mexican drug wars AND an American ATF agent. Strange how little is reported anymore about the "Fast and Furious" operation, yet we heard on a daily basis how the rights of the law-abiding American citizens must be curtailed when it comes to guns... 6) The Democrats are famous for trying to legislate and create laws pertaining to every little aspect of people's daily lives, yet when it comes to enforcing such laws and punishing criminals in the process, what happens? Well, Dems are pretty soft on crime to begin with, and do tend to side with the criminals in many cases rather than the victims. So what good are all the laws on this and that anyhow if they are not enforced?
