Village of Butler begins search for new police chief
The Village of Butler will officially begin the search for a new police chief, after the Village Board approved the recruitment process last Tuesday. This follows the retirement of Police Chief Michael Cosgrove, who stepped down in March after 33 years with Butler Police Department, including seven years as chief.

Village of Sussex — Elected officials in the Village of Sussex and the Town of Lisbon have decided to resume negotiations over a long-term agreement that would define how the two communities would continue sharing most of the operating cost of the Pauline Haass Library.
