Annual public school open-enrollment under way
Parents hoping to enroll their children in a new school district for next year can apply to do so from Feb. 6-24.
School additions win board approval
The Hamilton School Board voted Monday night to move ahead with two building additions at Marcy and Woodside elementary schools.
Two schools plan to expand
Two Hamilton elementary schools are running out of space, a report from the School District said on Jan. 3, and the School Board may move as quickly as next week to remedy the issue.
Chapter 220 program producing results
Students in the Hamilton School District's Chapter 220 program are performing much better than their peers in their resident school district, a report given to the Board of Education said.

Family pizza recipe brought to Sussex
Village of Sussex - When Marvin King made his rounds in the Sussex and Menomonee Falls area as a Time Warner serviceman, one thing he said put a damper on his day was the lack of places to have lunch. To remedy that situation, Kind decided to open his own restaurant in Sussex. On Tuesday, King marked his first week in business at Marcelino's Pizzeria & Grill, W24370 Main St.
U.S. Army returns to Power Test for challenge
Village of Sussex - Power Test employees again pushed themselves in a military fitness test. This is the second time the Sussex employer has conducted the U.S. Army Physical Fitness Test to encourage fitness, but it also sweetened the deal with another incentive. Employees had the chance to earn up to $300 based on their test results and get a chance to win tickets to see the Packers play the Raiders earlier this month.
Wittlins' family, business have been a part of Menomonee Falls for more than a century
Menomonee Falls - When the family business has lasted through two world wars, the Great Depression, numerous stock market downturns and seen 19 presidents, it says something about both the business and the family.
