Hamilton students take awards at state music events
Hamilton High School choral students took first and second place at the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) state competition April 28 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The following students earned awards.

Hamilton Robotics charges to championship
Hamilton High School's Charger Robotics FIRST Team 537 earned the regional Chairman's Award for its impact on team members, community and other teams in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition. The Rebound Rumble Wisconsin Regional was held at U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee and featured teams from seven states and two countries.

Templeton Middle School has been selected as the Middle School Program of the Year by the Wisconsin Technology Education Association (WTEA). The award honors education and industry professionals who have demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to technology education.

Quad sales dip a bit
Village of Sussex - Quad/Graphics sales dipped in the first quarter compared to last year. The printing company's net sales for the first quarter 2012 were $990 million versus $1,022 million for the same period in 2011. First quarter 2012 Adjusted EBITDA was $126 million versus $142 million for the same period in 2011.
Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce Draws Raffle Winners
The Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce recently held a fundraiser raffle in conjunction with Spring Fest. The winner of the $1,000 first place cash prize was Nancy Bass, an employee of Landmark Credit Union, a Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce member. The winner of the $500 gas card second place prize was Mary Theis from Sussex.
