Lannon Lions offer cash for info on vandals

Vandals twice stole community center flag, broke lights

The Lannon Lions Club is offering $100 to anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest of persons suspected of vandalizing the Lannon Community Center.

Lions Club President Jim Pritzlaff said that twice now somebody has stolen an American flag from outside the community center and broken two floodlights in the process.

"Our main goal is to get the guy or gal who stole it," Pritzlaff said. "It burns me."

A spokesman for the Lannon Police Department said the the acts of vandalism occurred in July and November. He said that in July, the vandal (or vandals) also damaged a nearby scoreboard. He estimated that damages were between $400 and $500.

"We haven't replaced the light or the flag again," Pritzlaff said. "We got to get the cash together, because all the cash we have we give to charity. Replacing it means less money goes to charity."

Anyone with information about the vandalism should contact the Lannon Police Department at (262) 251-4930.
