Memorial Day parade scheduled for May 28
VFW Horne-Mudlitz Post 6377 of Sussex invites the community to the annual Memorial Day parade that will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 28.
The parade will commence at the corner of Highway 74 and Waukesha Avenue in Sussex. It will proceed west on Main Street through Sussex to the VFW Post.
After the parade, a memorial service will be presented by the VFW Post to recognize the heroic efforts of the men and women in the armed forces. Refreshments will be provided for all parade participants. Local Scout groups are invited to march in the parade. Interested Scout troops should call the Post at (262) 820-9704 and leave a message for commander Chuck Eberhardt.
All veterans are invited to march with the Post and gather afterward.
