'Stuck'
Lake Country Players (LCP) presents "Stuck" at 7:30 p.m. Friday through Saturday, Feb. 10 through 25 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 and 26, at the LCP Playhouse.
This is the story of Ella, an elevator operator in an Art-Deco inspired hotel in Milwaukee. She works long hours and suffers from extreme agoraphobia, the fear of open spaces. But that's OK - she's made herself at home in her workplace, eating, sleeping, and spending 90 percent of her time going up and down and listening to people talk as she does so. Then she meets Ian, his wife Melissa, and Gillian, the woman that Melissa has hired to seduce Ian. Things are getting complicated, and Ella has some choices to make.
Tickets: $15; available at Hartland and Oconomowoc Piggly Wiggly stores or online at lakeountryplayhouse.net. As a special bonus on Friday, Feb. 17, playwright Neil Haven will be available after the performance to talk about his experiences as a Wisconsin playwright and the growth of his play. Refreshments will be served.
Cast: Ella - Betsy Bromley, Ian - Ryan H. Nelson, Gillian - Megan Wolfgram, Melissa - Emma Edga, Charlie - Jeff Davis and Charise -Rebecca Richards.
