Chargers rise to occasion at major meet

On Saturday, the Hamilton boys golf team played for keeps, setting a school record at the Waukesha County Tournament with 303, finishing in second place in the 22-school meet.

Chargers take fifth at GMC

Hamilton competed at Brookfield Central on May 14 for the annual Greater Metro Conference outdoor conference meet.

Hamilton handles Hale as playoffs loom

The Hamilton varsity girls softball team defeated West Allis Hale in a Greater Metro Conference game on May 14, 7-5.

Boys tennis

Chargers claim fifth place in GMC tennis

The Hamilton varsity boys tennis team took fifth place at the Greater Metro Conference Tournament on May 14-15 at Brookfield Central.

Girls soccer

Sweet 16: Chargers couldn't be happier

Hamilton's varsity girls soccer team outscored three opponents 16-0 in recent days, stopping New Berlin West on May 18, 7-0, Waukesha South on May 16, 4-0 and West Allis Hale on May 14.

Boys tennis

Experience the name of the game for tennis

The Hamilton varsity boys tennis team played in a two-day indoor tournament held at SportsCore in Kohler on May 10-11.

Girls soccer

Kickers top Craig, fall to Falls

Hamilton's varsity girls soccer team split two games in recent days, stopping Janesville Craig in a nonconference match on May 11, 5-1. Against Menomonee Falls in a Greater Metro Conference battle, the Chargers were defeated on May 7, 1-0.

Land O’Lakes

Brookfield edges Sussex in LOL

The Brookfield Bulldogs edged host Sussex on May 12, 4-3, at Tetzlaff/Veterans Field in Land O'Lakes Western Division baseball action. Greg Basthemer outdueled Cardinals pitcher Travis Thompson. Basthemer gave up nine hits while walking one. He struck out two.

Softball

Hamilton splits with DSHA softball team

Hamilton's varsity girls softball team was on both sides of the fence on May 7, falling in the first game of a doubleheader against Divine Savior Holy Angels, 15-1. In the second game, Hamilton rebounded for a 5-2 victory against the Dashers.

Boys golf

HHS golf team wins four-team tournament

Hamilton's varsity boys golf team played in the WOSA Tournament on May 8, winning against squads from Arrowhead, Wauwatosa and Oconomowoc.

Track and field

Hamilton plays host to GMC Relays

Hamilton hosted the Greater Metro Conference Relays on May 1, and the host team produced several strong performances.

Softball

Bats come alive for HHS softball team

The Hamilton varsity girls softball team was involved in an exciting game on April 30. The Chargers trailed Brookfield East going into the seventh inning, 5-2, but they weren't sunk just yet.
