Chinese Lantern Day Celebration at Gymlingo

Gymlingo plans on having a Lantern Day Celebration on 2/5/12. If you are taking Chinese at school, if you have an adopted Chinese child, or if you interested in Chinese culture in general, you are invited.
Lantern Day Celebration

Lantern Day Celebration on 2/5/2012 marking the end of the Chinese New Year Festival.

Day and Time: Sunday 2/5/12 1:30 - 3:30 pm
1:30-2:00 Kids open gym and parents socialize, make sweet dumplings and Sesame leaves. We will also be selling small Chinese gifts.
2:00-2:30 Enjoy food, making lanterns and crafts (paper cutting for decorating a Lantern).
2:30-3:00 Performances and presentations
3:00-3:30 Open gym (Open Gym for children 12 and younger. Calligraphy for teens and adults)

Performances: Chinese music, Tai Chi, and all things related to Chinese culture. We encourage everyone to participate.
Cost is $8 per child and $3 Teen/adult prepaid by mail; $10 for a child and $5 for Teen/adult at the door.
