Grow Your Creative Side at the Schauer Center
December 11, 2013—Hartford, WI— The Schauer Community School of the Arts announces winter/spring visual art classes and workshops for ages 16 and above. Adult visual arts classes engage the community in the creative process through a number of mediums. Classes encourage self-discipline, focus, and creative exploration. Students are encouraged to register for the full session, but drop-in rates are available. All classes are held at the Schauer Arts & Activities Center in downtown Hartford.
Offerings for the winter/spring session include:
Open Art Studio on Tuesdays, January 14 through March 4 or March 18 through May 13 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Further develop creativity while enjoying the company of other self-motivated artists in this master teacher guided studio. Students choose their subject and medium, and bring their own supplies.
Painting Studio on Thursdays, January 30 through March 6 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Create paintings, explore the medium, and focus on expressing a subject. Supplies are not included. Oil, watercolor, and acrylic mediums welcome.
Introduction to Drawing on Thursdays, January 30 through March 6 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.
Students will gain experience by drawing people, places, still-lifes, and more. Class is designed for beginners who have an interest in learning how to sketch or want to improve their drawing skills.
