Transit Authority Brings Chicago to Hartford

January 17, 2014 – Hartford, WI – The high energy Chicago tribute band Transit Authority will be at the Schauer Arts & Activities Center Friday, February 14 at 7:30 pm. Over three decades of music are highlighted in this spot-on tribute to the historic group Chicago.

Since performing their first shows together in 2003, Transit Authority has steadily become known throughout the U.S. and abroad as the premier tribute to iconic jazz rock group Chicago, whose classic hits include 25 or 6 to 4, Searchin’ for So Long, and Saturday in the Park. Based out of Minneapolis, the eight member ensemble creates a fiery musical salute to the greatest horn driven rock act to ever come down the pike. Transit Authority’s mission is to recreate the excitement of the original Chicago sound with every performance, and have even been endorsed by Chicago themselves. With stellar lead vocals, industrial strength guitar, and supremely talented best horn and rhythm sections, Transit Authority will make audiences believe they are watching the real thing.

Tickets to see Transit Authority are $34 or $30 for adults and $10 for students. Hartford residents may receive $4 off adult tickets; discount must be requested at time of purchase, some restrictions apply. Tickets can be purchased at the Schauer Center Box Office Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at 147 N.
