Free Cooking Class at Harvest Market
Harvest Market Executive Chef Justin Johnson has teamed up with Watertown Regional Medical Center’s Registered Dietitians to create a lineup of culinary classes with a healthful twist. Known for his appearances on WISN 12 News and regular contributions to OnMilwaukee.com, Johnson brings culinary flair, innovative flavors and fun to his classes.
On Tuesday, May 27th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. “A Taste of Harvest: Rx for Health” introduces strategies, tips and advice for eating well to community members interested in making healthy changes to their lifestyle. This is a FREE class that occurs the fourth Tuesday of each month (same course material each month). Spend an entertaining class sampling foods and learning valuable nutrition basics. You’ll also take home simple recipes to try at home.
Advance registration is required. To register, please visit HarvestMarketCafe.com and click on Upcoming Events. Class fees are subsidized thanks to support from Tomorrow’s Hope.
Classes take place in the Harvest Community Kitchen, located inside Watertown Regional Medical Center, 125 Hospital Drive in Watertown.
