Emily’s Story- The Brave Journey of an Orphan Train Rider

Dousman, WI – Three Pillars presents Clark Kidder as he tells the story of his paternal grandmother who was brought to Wisconsin in 1909 as an orphan child abroad the orphan train. Between 1853 and 1929, nearly 150,000 children were transported from New York City to homes of farm families in almost every state especially the Midwest. This presentation will tell of one special orphan Emily. This presentation will be held on Tuesday, July 7th at 6:30 p.m. at Village on the Square in the Holz Pavilion.
